La Locandiera is located on the Côte d’Azur, between Nice and Cannes, facing a little fishermen port. The hotel building is an early 1900’s brick villa, surrounded by a wonderful garden; the recent restoring work has been carried out with good taste and in a very accurate way. The B&B is a two storey building and has five rooms: two of them are suites. Each room has an amazing sea view; the B&B is a stone’s throw from the beach and two minutes’ walk from the town centre.
The large beach has several sports facilities and a sailing school as well; guests can also take lessons from diving instructors. Not far from the hotel are the casino, the horse racetrack (the only one of the Côte d’Azur), the medieval town of Haut-de-Cagnes, the Renoir museum; these landmarks, along with the contemporary art exhibit, represent just a few of the several entertainment opportunities offered by this sunny little town.
